Klein Quantum 1991 NOS

Justifiably pricey, or wildly optimistic? Subject to condition being maintained, would items like this actually appreciate in value over time?

Re:

There has been a recent trend in the price of the pre-Trek road frames increasing in value, probably owing to the kult status of the MTB range and their strong prices. I would see this trend continuing so long as the MTB prices hold with road frames rising proportionately faster in the short term. As a guide, I bought my mint, pre-trek, Burgundy Blue Quantum Pro frameset 2 years ago for £300. They are exchanging for over twice that now (mine is now built so it's not for sale!). Although, £1500 is over cooking it right now in my opinion.

Thanks LDP. I must admit I'm having very lustful thoughts about that particular frame (!) although I need to check the size. If it was perfect, I might try an offer and then build it as (hopefully) a lifetime keeper...
