I would say £13 would be closer for the whole bike, but in fairness, all the important bits seem to be there gear hanger and front mech.

Once you've ridden one, you'll hope to never do it again.
Design classic tho - casting components is a good idea in many cases, but the frame isn't one of them. The kirk proved it.
We have sold a few over the years, most recently a time trial racing piece. Magnesium is surprisingly worthless as scrap

I had one bitd, and I never found riding it an issue. It felt no more flexy than other frames of the era. Seems like it was a common enough issue that perhaps there was a bad batch.

The problem was frame failure. A dropout failed when riding down a hill at speed. That severely dented my confidence in the bike (as well as my helmet and head). 3 weeks after I got the replacement, one of the rack mounts failed. I decided it was no longer for me after that.
