When I was a wee nipper we had the YM(CA) with the summer play scheme that saw us rock climbing, horse riding, kayaking, caving, rambling etc it was absolutely great fun. I guess these days all the nannying H&S regs would get in the way. Really miss those days, they were smashing fun.
