Every country has their own rules, but they are generally similar. Spain and Italy are a bitch to get things in, and my experience in working in Spain tells me they charge you double for everything, Italy has a similar reputation if they don't get lost first, this is unless you know the right people that is. I've not worked elsewhere in Europe, but Germany, Netherlands and Belgium are pretty straight laced, and play it by the book.
