Not much of an update but I sold the CK wheels as I have a set of Hope Pro4 which I rebuilt, one set had to go.
New Cane Creek 110 headset bought, new Problem Solvers ECB (damn expensive) and, well, Mr Boone has my order
single-speed-double-step-sprocket
I also bought some Deore brakes which seemed great value and will provide all the stopping power I need I think

If its a singlespeed build , keep an eye out for some Jones titanium H-bars. very comfy indeed , if that style suits.

Also ridden Thompson bars , beautiful finish but agree on the ride feel pretty intense…probably need really good tyres or suspension to be ok…

Good tip - I’ve gone back to ‘normal’ carbon Chromag Cutlas to see how they feel.

Well it’s taken a while but it’s finally finished bar a few tweaks - wee spin this morning and a big grin returned to my face, such a fun bike to ride!
