Incompetent people!

When I first started propper cycling the club junior champion casually said he could feel a patch on a road inner tube when riding. Never been able to do this - maybe my behind is too well padded - but for this wheel I think I might be able to tell.

23 epiphany moments missed to find an appropriate solution….takes Einstein’s statement to an epic new pinnacle.

Do you suppose the owner did each repair incidentally, or patched all of them following the first puncture? If the former, did the owner walk the bike home 24 times and visit the store 24 times to buy 24 tiny tubes of rubber cement? What would the conversations have been with the store cashier? Were there other inner tubes before this one? How many patches in the preceding tubes?

He's not the first.

When I built up my own mountain bike from scratch I too forgot to put rim tape on the wheels.

Luckily only got 4 pinch punctures on the back wheel on the first ride and rode home with a very soft rear tyre praying that I didn't get any more.
