Ironically, the closest bar to my house is aptly named Solid Gold. I chose a a road ride over being constantly pestered to pony up for a lap dance.

It was a full moon and a comfortable 22C, so I spent the rest of the (stripper free) evening on my Poag on the deck with a bottle of Lagavulin and my favourite glass.
