tried a normal 14mm & way too big. havent had chance to attack with socket set yet.

Thinwall sockets should do the trick.

Whitworth measures the shaft and the bolts are sized to a standard factor I belive. I may be wrong, if I am please set me right because:
1. I may learn something.
2. It keeps this thread going.
