Don't know what the technicality could have been, it was just a comment that came up in conversation. The family's antics are a constant topic of conversation locally, so the source and details of those antics get somewhat hazy once they have done the rounds. The 'death by dangerous driving' incident occurred one and a half years ago, but has only just come to court. Seems a long turn around time to me, but perhaps that is normal, or perhaps new evidence came to light.
