Well done mate...you smashed it!

Oh and Adrian, I love your bike. Details please  was there a thread?

Just had lots of pizza and a nap.

Re:

Well, that was an excellent ride.

Rode the second half with Mike Muz and DA-EVO. Also spent much of the first half with Coleman and Mass199, both on very toothsome moderns.

Plenty of other retro bikes there; I saw a really nice Orange P7 (I think) begin ridden by Mike's twin brother, plus several other Oranges. Also a very kool looking Klein in green and green.

One poor soul took a tumble within a mile of the start, and looked like he had busted his collar bone.

All in all the 50k was excellent, with 1000m (3,300 ft) of climbing, and damn near perfect weather.

Plus, there was that lady.... in the shorts.

Re:

Well, I am back home, and already back to work!

Well, today was great, was really good to me some more Retrobikists, perhaps next time I will actually (finally) turn up with a Retro MTB.

A special mention to The History Man, well done, much kudos deserved for doing the event today all things considered. Also, nice to chat with Neil, Colman and the other RB people.

Much thanks to Mr Muz for putting up with me for 2 days, something that no doubt needed an additional medal.

Cheers to all!

I heard about the drive back.... impressive, has the flux capacitor cooled down now?

 I know not, to what, you refer...

Anyhow Muz was having his catnap so i had no witnesses of my gentle drive home in my diesel tractor.

Edited to add.. I think we got really lucky with the traffic on the M25, I cannot recall, in years, ever getting between Heathrow and Gatwick so easily. :)
