Hi to everyone out there! My problem is as above, I have an old Raleigh, but just cannot remember the model name and its driving me insane!! I would post a pic but it was in very poor shape and a friend has stripped it, rebuilt it and....uh....sprayed it candy pink!! :shock: (oh the horror, the horror!! Luckily I like it!)
I had it for my17th birthday back in 1989, it has a Reynolds 531 frame, and possibly forks, all these decals had long worn away. The colour was originally red fading into white at the ends, or possibly the othr way round, helpful eh!?. It has Shimano exage sport components and on the handle bars it reads sakae custom on the left top and road champion on the right top, both surrounded by laurels. The fromt chain ring is a shimano biopace sis.
I do remember that there was a model almost identical to it but slightly cheaper that was yellow fading to white? Dunno if that helps at all??
Anyone who has any idea what it may be, I'll be reeeeally grateful!!
