Hey!! Exactly the same on the control tech post I just acquired :shock:

Decided to bin it and drop in a Moby post instead

Well, I'm going to continue searching for a 29.4mm until it becomes the last thing holding up the rebuild (so i probably have until about April! ), then I'll get a 27.2 and shim it... Tempted to get one of the original black ControlTech posts and have it stripped and re-anodised in silver...

(also recommend replacing your chamois inserts with steel plates!)

Get it to a machine shop and remove the end. Then part-off the damaged area and machine the I/D as the original, then bond the top backon.
