Guy Martin, land speed record

Not many, if any
The Kahunna's required are considerably underestimated, having personally experienced the shite-ya-pants feeling at 48.9mph on road down hill, draughting a car
Easy to big it up, but would be seriously hard to actually execute, I reckon

Done 49.6 downhill on pioneer. No car. Great fun. Not sure what difference 50mph or 100 would make to fear factor. All relative I suppose.

Bob's your mother's brother in that case.

 having had a zx9 helps I suppose. Once you get above a few mph in Lycra dies it naked a difference? I equate it to jumping from five floors or fifty five floors onto concrete. Effect will be the same. Haven't seen the prog but will search it out.

Don't really see him as a legend of the TT, not won anything. Joey is a legend, Mcguinness is a legend. Guy Martin seems like a nice guy, but he's not a legend.

After todays events id have been far more impressed had My M gone from the top on a teatray, wearing i might add nothing but spray on lycra

Really? Didn't know British Land Speed records were allowed to be set in the US.

You live and learn.
