GT ID chrome cro-moly What's the model? Help!

It's definitely not Ti and is quite heavy so as said might not be Cro-mo.

Have a look at the xizang in the 1990 catalogue. I'd say we may have a match? Very chromy finish. -92 was the last year for u-brakes. I have a -92 zaskar le and I found the frame to be surprisingly heavy.

Thats ok, I don't like them anyway. But youre right, no xizang, and,definately no titanium. Too much rust on the frame. Dropouts, no groove tube and internal wiring may suggest a late 80's maybe?
Some similarities to the -88 avalanche but dropouts don't match..

It's a strange one. I have a 1991 Bravado a 1990 Avalanche and a 1990 Karakoram elite. It's different to all of them. I think it's possibly an early-ish Timberline.

No idea about the chrome finish, but it looks like a 1990 or 1991 Timberline to me.
