Hoping you can save the paint if it’s decent condition. I’d of likely used the Seatpost man or rigged something up without chemicals on a frame with a hard to replicate scheme.
Paint is all good,running water setup to keep it cool on the outside while it works away in side.
this will be the 4th one I’ve done the same way and all been gt’s
Lack of maintenance over the years with greasing the posts by owners at some point.
