The pantera didn’t have this seat fitted from new! I have fitted one of these on one of my panteras though as that are age specific.

I bought the bike new in ‘93 (‘last year’s model’, only $600+, and at that time it was fitted with the Viscount seat. Too bad I’ll not likely find the correct seat post, but I’m not that worried about it.

It’s about as original as you’ll find. Suntour, and Diacomp U-brake. I’ve noticed ‘AL’ was added to the name shortly after this one was built.

Maybe it was upgraded! They work as they are the correct age and look great anyway
