I didn't realize how grainy the photos were until they were live on the site. I was able to get outside today; here are some with a touch better clarity.

Will also do frame only, or combination of parts listed.

Re: FS: Kona King Kahuna 19" Titanium with Bits

Looking for a little guidance, seems like with the bits, this is a better deal than the last one sold on the 'bay, plus the added condition improvement. is it shipping/duties, or the non-original decals? or was the bay KK priced as sort of an oddity?

Re: FS: Kona King Kahuna 19" Titanium with Bits

Hi, the recent eBay one did go high but it was also an 18" which seems to be the most sought after size in Britain. As a guide I sold a '98 KK on eBay in 19" at auction with some chain slap and a tiny dt ding and that went for £575.00 two summers ago with a CK headset. Last year I sold on here a 17" '97 KK frame which was immaculate like yours for £625.00. But these were domestic sales so shipping was a lot cheaper.

Re: FS: Kona King Kahuna 19" Titanium with Bits

I have bought/sold two KK's - frame only.

The 19" was £600 and the 18" was £700

If that helps at all?....happy to edit/remove if you prefer...just let me know :)

Lovely frame though.

Cheers

Re: FS: Kona King Kahuna 19" Titanium with Bits

might want to try the correct 98 onwards section? you might get more bikes although I suspect at that price it may stay with you for a time..anyway heres the link and good luck with your sale

Hi cjn,
i agree with you that your "package" seems more attractive given the componants and the condition of the frame is better than mine. I think the sticking point is the size its a 19.As i explained in my thread the average bloke in U.K. is 5'8" which would put that frame size at 17 or 18 frame. I do understand that some people of that height have longer torso/longer reach and so on. You mention after market decals..to me thats not a problem..i have kept what was originally on there and Gil_m has prepared some others that were missing. Some members on here dont like variations on paint or decals they like it "stock" as it came from the factory and or patina, every dink/scratch tells a story. I have had numerous frames bought and sold on here where i have changed the frame colour and decal era.

You mention shipping..again no problem there in my opinion..the only issue risk to the buyer is getting "stung" by customs.

Everything sells at a price.. i paid what the marketplace/ebay dictated... was it high..suppose it was going on what other members have paid previous..i won by 89pence  ..these frames dont come up often..and personally yours is lovely and it will sell.

Might be worth putting all the "package" seperatley on ebay..i know you have the hassle of fees and so on..but then you will reach a wider audience of potential buyers

All the best with the sale mate ;)

Ernie ;)
