Overall I would say there are underrated frames - a lack of magic in the Dawes name for anything other than tourers. Probably the tourer association counts against!
Dawes knew thier stuff, it'll be a decent ride. Typically the frames were rather better than the bits and deserved nicer stuff hung off them.
