racedoctor Old School Hero Sep 6, 2009 #2 My Muddy Fox Dual fram takes a 3.0 but if it's a big DH your building then I know of two for sure that take 3.0.. Muddy Fox Rock N Roll from 2000 fits a 3.0, think that was the first time I saw a 3.0 tyre on a mtb. My friend used to have a Cortina DH8 with 3.0's, really nice big heavy thing.. (found this pic on google image) .

gibbleking Old School Grand Master Sep 6, 2009 #5 ps the sannie frame is quite light so u may need to eat a few pork pies to compensate...

Joe Retro Guru Sep 6, 2009 #9 my big hit had a 3 inch nokian (over 3 inches) on it for a bit. I rode one with monster t's, long travel plates (10 inch travel) and 3 inch tyres on superwide rims once - that was a BEAST

Scrat Retro Guru Feedback View Sep 6, 2009 #10 i don't think I have ever seen a 26" 3.0 Gazz in the rear of anything Many 24" x 3 rear and 26" x 2.6 front for that full on moto look. remember MX tubes If you want the heaviest full on DH bike you'll be after a pair of sun doublewides, monster Ts, Magura gustav, Anonic cranks and DW bars. All hanging of a Brooklyn machine works I reckon you could hit 70lb if you try!
