Hello folks
I wonder if you could please help?

What's the date of manufacture of my Floval Flyer?

No FF number on the drop outs but also no Fuji style seat post clamp??

Welcome.

Early SE's did not have serial numbers, pictures would help a bit.

All the info I've found on-line says that its not a USA made Floval Flyer if it doesn't contain a serial number begging with FF stamped on the drop-outs. This being the case, it will be a Fuji made newer version made after 1999 which was the last USA made version. However, Fuji style Floval's have an external seat post clamp. The older Floval's have the integral double bolt version.

As MK one has kindly advised above, early SE Racing frames didn't have serial numbers but I would hazard a guess and claim that my Floval isn't that old. Its not a loop tail if that only incorporates old FFs without serial numbers?

I'm really curious as to know when it might have been made. The guy who sold it to me swore it was '99

Bottom line is, I love it! and am slowly gathering original/retro components for a re-build!

Thanks folks

Great site!
