I bought this in a while back but have decided to scale back a little, as an unmanageable list of projects isn’t doing my head much good.
It’s pretty ratty and has a small dent in the seat tube (see next to last pic). I was going to build it up as is but it could use a repaint.
It doesn’t have a rear canti bridge (not sure if that’s how it was built) so will need a hanger off the seatpost bolt.
Measurements are 13.25” from centre of bb to centre of top tube and 16.5” centre to top. The top tube measures 21.25” c-c actual, so effective will be a fraction longer. Asking £65 plus postage for the bare frame.
I was going to run a fillet brazed straight blade Bob Jackson fork, but I ended up not buying it. It’s still available and I can put you in touch with the seller if required.
EDIT: after chatting with another forum member, it could actually be a Bromwich. The shape of the chainstays (see 4th pic) does look very Bromwich. I know the UK scene was a little incestuous back then so who knows. Either way I believe one to be as desirable as the other.
