Eddy Merkcx Corsa Extra Team 7-Eleven Finished build with photos

Hi fellow retro bike riders thanks for all the comments so far. I am pleased to be able to show my latest build this one is for my own collection. Spec, as follows

*Eddy Merkcx Team 7-eleven
*Columbus SLX tubing
*Shimano 600 Ultegra Tri Colour STI 8 Speed group set with a mixture of N.O.S and very tidy parts.
*Including the Ultegra 600 seat pin and bar stem
I have the original pedals but have put modern Look Keo on so I don't have to keep changing my shoes!
*Cinelli Campione Del Mondo 66-44 Handlebars.
*Sella Italia Turbo saddle
*N.O.S Eddy Merkcx bottle cages
*Team 7-Eleven printed water bottles
*Cinelli white cork ribbon with Eddy Merkcx printed bar end plugs
* N.O.S Tri hubs
* N.O.S Mavic MA40 rims
*Vittoria Open Corsa SC racing tyres.

I know that the replica bikes used the Dura Ace groupset for the team bikes but I had this tri group saved for a build and I think it looks well and am looking forward to riding it through the Ribble Valley in sunny Lancashire.

On to the next build a very nice 1987 Team Pagganini racing bike will put some build photos when it's up and running regards Gibbo
