Early titanium quill wedge bar ends

Anyone recognise these?


Being the dge type internal fit, I imagine they must be around 1990. They look like a commercial product although the alloy parts have some evidence of turning, milling and cnc machining, so small scale.

Outside diameter of the wedge section is 19mm, which might offer a clue??

These bar ends fit into the ends of the handlebars, rather than clamping around the outside.
The benefit was no loss of bar width - external clamp bar ends meant shuffling the controls inboard a half inch, or losing some grip.
Also they look tidy.
The disadvantage was variation in internal diameter of the bar, and extra weight - and the bar was more likely to split under an internal expansive force than the alternative external crushing force.
Mtb bars are 22.2 outside diameter, internally it depends on quality and material. Early steel bars had a large internal diameter than alloy, and cheap alloy tends to have thicker walls.
