I thought you had a stutter so i didn't like to say anything

Reminds me of an old guy telling me about a bike he loved when he was a kid. He had a paper round and used to pass the bike shop everyday and they had a beautiful Jack Taylor bike in the window. Well he saved up all his paper round money and finally was ready for the big day. The problem was, as a kid he had a really bad stutter, so rather than stand there stammering he practised what he was going to say outside the shop until he could say it without a stutter!

He walked into the shop, the assistant comes through from the back......'C c c c c ccan I I I help you', says the assistant. This threw him completely and he couldn't say anything for a minute until he said, 'I I I I'd lllllike to to to buy the bbbike in the wwwindow.

The assistant grabbed him by his collar and threw him out of the shop
