Your purple set is the set that everyone wanted. You have one set of the standard and one set of the "low profile". People ran the standards on the front and the low-pros on the rear. They are not front or rear specific though, but the standards allowed for better mechanical leverage / clamping force up front and the low-pros allowed for rear brakes that didn't contact the riders heals during upstroke. The standards are shorter and wider, the rear low-pros are narrower and taller.
