Creaking Pace Frame

my mate had a creaking pace in uni. then 1 day the entire b.bracket shell came away from the rest of the frame & the creaking stopped...

Hahahahaha Long those J.R.A. stories.. Sorry don't mean to be a shadenfreude, but that sort of thing is quite funny..

I personally saw 3 pace frames break in uni, all of them in different ways ...bottom bracket shell was by far the most impressive, espically as the guy wasnt a wrecker (like I was!)

Great activity for bike shop workers... track down that mystery creak, hours of fun.... or rather prime 'job that can wait for the weekend workers'

as above copperslip the BB threads seems to cure 80%+ of cases in my experience.
