Damn when I saw the title, I thought it was going to be a fight to the death between them

I honestly don't think that would take long, Kurt!

He is too fat, too young and far too gay.
Ok, he is a bit fat, but that can be sorted....

Tony Blair was only 43 when decisively elected PM two years after taking the leadership, Watson is currently 49.

If he is gay, that's quite a beard he's been developing: "Watson was married to Siobhan,[46] and the couple have two children. The couple are separated. His current partner is Stephanie Peacock, Labour's 2015 candidate for Halesowen and Rowley Regis.[47]" (According to his Wikipedia entry).

On an aside: I have noticed that, for someone who was Minister for Digital Engagement under Gordon Brown, he hasn;t updated his official website since June 2015 :D

I think the membership have shown only too strongly over the last few years that they want someone with Union/Socialist background.
David Milliband [51]?..just too Islington/Oxford Blairite intelligensia for my taste:

All the best,

I think perhaps he is wise enough to be waiting for Owen Smith to fail in his current attempt and Corbyn to be dropped as unelectable well before the next election.
Assuming Corbyn wins the leadership (again) why/how would the party dispose of him before the election? The mechanism isn't in place. The PLP has no sway. The members want him. The NEC is Corbynite.

Said it before, but I think Dave Miliband will return.
Not so long as the members are in charge. Painted as a Blairite, tainted as a Miliband, why would Corbyn voters clearly eager for radical change go back to the future?

They either go to the polls with Corbyn and pick up the pieces afterwards, or they split in the next year. As GMB have now backed Smith I think it's more likely there will be some sort of split.

Either way, as a Tory it's hilarious.

As for the original question, Trump is less dangerous than Corbyn.
