Do you know who is behind bikeituk?

This because they took the Gazelle Champion Mondial brochures off my site and present them as theirs on their site (https://www.bikeituk.club/catalogues/gazelle), including their logo and all. This includes scans of catalogs that I do not own myself but had donated by other people. I don’t mind if the brochures are saved and shared but don’t particularly like the way it was done in this case…

Have you tried to contact him? He does have a lot of information on himself on his website. Hopefully he will listen to your complaint and fix it. It is totally the wrong way to go about it from him. Stijlloos.

Yes, I did and I am quite sure I came across them a year or two ago and asked him to take them down.
What actually annoys me most is that he appears to be using the brochures to attract visitors to his youtube channel and web/eBay shop …

Since you've tried getting in touch with the owner and they've been uncooperative, another option is to try and get in touch with the host provider, but chances are that'll go nowhere. You can try Google DMCA (https://support.google.com/legal/troubleshooter/1114905?hl=en-GB), which could have their site removed from the search engine provided there's proof that they've stolen your content. I am not sure it'll lead anywhere, also considering it's scanned brochures. Do not resort to takedown services, those are scams, milking you dry for nowt.

While internet is practically based on "copy-n-paste share" it does suck without giving credit to those who spend considerable time, willingness to share information, IT expenses for no financial gain. It's in bad taste for me.

As Woz mentions, it's in bad taste. I'd recommend contacting the owner again should no other options garner any results, and ask for a link back to your site as credit if he's that unwilling to remove it.

You could always string together a very foreboding DMCA takedown notice using some online examples/templates and make it clear you're willing to take it further in the hope that it'd stir the pot a bit

NOTE: Chances are this will probably end up doing **** all and therefor I refer back to my point about at least asking for credit and accepting that as Woz said, it is very much the ethos of the internet - sharing and caring. He just forgot the caring part, the siteowner.
