I don't understand it either re volume, I regularly ship whole bikes @ up to 14kg in bike crates I get from a number of LBS's that I have groomed )
Once you step up to worldwide with TNT they change the parameters ( hence two parcels)
I looked in to using other carriers,but as I only sell to feed my own bike habit/ocd disorder , I have to pay private rates not business which are ridiculous

A solution may be to post in the main forum - do doubt there are guys there who know the best way to do it. There is a chap called Latman in OZ who may know the best options.

Although, i just remembered you have changed your mind!!! LOL
