Cobra Road bike Frame 01

BlokewithaCobra

Retro Newbie
I just saw a thread about a Cobra bike frame 74 - "built by Paul Riley who later moved to Hetchins".
Years ago I bought a bike from a good neighbour who like to have "interesting" bikes. I only new it was a first but had no idea beyond that. He tailored it but told me to keep the original forks which I dutifully have done.
I've no idea about the concepts behind the frame, the reasons it was built, or what happened to Cobra cycle frames or Paul Riley.
The above quote is as much as I've found out in many years.
Does anyone know any more - as much as anything it would be a tribute to the neighbour, Kevin Sinfield, who loved his cycling more than I ever will but sadly died over 10 years ago.
