Wanted Cheap fork with long straight 1 1/8 steerer

And who doesn't want a front disc at least. V's are fine but we've all been through the era and know the real truth about rim brakes, properly set up or otherwise

Thanks, saw through the typo. Not going to be upgrading the wheels and sourcing a disc brake for the front, or magura for that matter so the forks just aren't going to work.

i do have an usual black unicrown big fork sort of with a really long (guess over 25cm) 1 1/8” steerer. in case you still look for it, just pm

Thanks, that might be suitable. I've bought a sus fork but think the steerer is going to be too short so still looking.
