Can't identify Carlton for the life of me

Yes, had a chat with my old man about it and he recalls having it rebuilt in the 80's with new gears and handlebars - hence the Sachs Huret gear on it.

He had it before I was born (1979) so looks that way. Wonder what model it was then. I think it might be a Dynamic Clubman based on the catalogue. The stripes and framework match, as do the brakes and the "Race Proved" badge on the fork.

Back on a proper keyboard (sorry about the short post from the iphone).

Colour and chrome look like a Carlton Ten, mind you that's from memory. I will have a better think later as I am on horse detail now :)

I'm not sure the white band around the headtube is original and is the metal headbadge missing, I see no sign of it? Is the headtube drilled for the rivets?

It has the colour scheme of a Carlton Ten, the orangey metallic and green was around in the late 60s

(Edit) :roll: Just seen Shauns post on page 2, I was reading page1 when I posted :facepalm:
