If history is any guide, future retrobikers will be scratching their heads and cursing the clown who destroyed such a valuable bike...

Can anyone tell me if this early 90s Giraffe is genuine or a fake...?

The History Man makes/repeats history???

I think that’s sufficient slave labour. Just needs to harden off before assemblage. Build will be fairly standard. Modern v brakes in silver I think. I want this to be a regular winter ride so needs to be geared and braked for the local terrain. Mudguards and rack? 8 speed wheels. Hoping original shifters and mech will be ok. We shall see.

Re:

And in other news, zoologists the world over have noted some unusual behaviour in giraffes: the shaking of heads, as if in dismay, and trying to cover their eyes with their hooves, in a way strangely reminiscent of facepalm emoji. The cause of this behaviour is so far unknown but, according to experts, it's a sign of great disturbance.
