I went over there today and it had been sold! So I took some other photos.

Here's Jerry's personal town "bomber." It's one speed with a freewheel and rim brakes.

Here is one he just finished. For town bikes Jerry uses a New Departure coaster brake, which is abundant and cheap because it was useless for dirt riding. It has the advantage of smooth action, the disadvantage of poor heat resistance.

Clunkers are bikes. "Klunkerz" is the name of a film about these bikes. Director Billy Savage deliberately chose a unique spelling so he could search for it online, and also for trademark purposes, and now he will see this thread too.
