Boy"O"boy's Inbred 29er S/S

The weights are for the wheels alone ..... if not they'd be lighter than the 26" XTR wheelset in the "sale" at 3 time the money.

I ened up building a nice custom set based on some Stan's rims. Wheel and tire weight does make a difference and I like big tires so need all the help I can get from the wheels.

Enjoy!!

Thought they might be, I'd been looking at the Fulcrum SL for £175 but reviews were saying they were heavy at just over 2000g but I've yet to see anything in the price range lighter.

29er's are fun, aren't they.

Are you using a regular top cap for that Syncros stem? I am curious about how it's done. I just picked up a Syncros that came with no top cap, I've been trying to come up with a homebrew solution for it.

Octsoc..... here's a close up of that hope spacer modified to fit the syncros stem. Rear measurement is 17mm, front 10mm if that's any help?!

Raced the 29er at Thetford d2d last weekend using a 32-16 ratio. Perfect for the terrain. For riding Langdon hills/ Hadleigh castle I've tried a 32-20 which is perfect for the short/steep climbs but easily out geared on the flat.
I've settled on a 32-18 with a half link chain and tugnuts. :D
Check out the custom 'Single Fat Racing' decals.... each rider had they're own slogan!

Cheers,
boy"O"boy
