Hi all,
I do have a Merlin '93 frame and want to know which bottom bracket size I can combine with which cranks for this frame.
I thought that it depends also on the frame as the chain stays may differ from frame to frame.
But as the sheets I found do not list specific frame brands, I guess the selection is quite generic for the bottom bracket and crankset and then it has to be checked if it fits for a specific frame.
According to the links below,
I would need a 107-113mm axle to use a XTR m900 crankset.
Not sure if 107mm fits for the frame as it is quite narrow.
But whichs cranks could I mount on a 117mm axle for example?
This is not completely clear for me as the crankset description here e.g. says Syncros, but not which exact model:
