If I remember correctly my first attendance was back in 2010 with my grey Lobster. All in all the Grove now is my sixth entry and I am really happy you liked the bike and made it my second botm.

Yes a great bike for sure. Well done. I am also loving that superlite it looks super fresh, why can't modern bikes have such great paint jobs.
 
I think combination of at least two reasons:
- mtb is now a mass equipment sport, so the appearance of the bike must appeal ”everyone”. In 90’s it was more of a show.

- designing nice coloured patterns is quite easy on simple double diamond frame. Doing that to curved, complex frames including suspension elements is difficult and time consuming. Cheaper to keep simple.
