Baiku like no other

My mother-in-law (who's 76) is always wittering on to me along the lines of " You'll have a heart attack or something out in the mountains and forests and die out there".

I just tell her that I'd rather die out there, among the hills and trees that I love, than in some hospital ward among others destined soon to share my fate. Unfortunately, in this day and age, few of us are afforded this luxury. Nor even to die in our own beds.

A tragedy for the poor guy's family and friends - far more so than for him, and yet this has really upset me. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to deal with things like this.....

Makes you think........

I rode 'The Wall' today and for 2/3 of it I didn't see another soul, I really enjoyed the isolation but I did take it easy on the descents for fear of crashing and being stuck there for a long time.............

only when the wife looked at me in bed like she had seen a ghost and i went to jump up and realised no left hand side motion there lol
