Are these forks a write off ?

I am a carbon expert,do not use! Yes fork are cheap these days,a repaired fork won't has same ride qualities as before, when those forks collapse and your newly botoxed mug gets used as a giant brake pad think of the composite industry description of such accidents,'catastrophic failure'

Amazing how many people are prepared to declare themselves an expert isn't it?

Looks like two people plus some other opinions.

Great thing about this forum is you get access to all sorts of expertise.

Hi guys, thanks for all the replies. I guess they are FUBAR then by the general consensus. Thought so ..... :(
I've been in touch with the seller and backed up by the comments on this thread have got compensation towards some replacements. Trouble is I'm not likely to get exact replacements - PlanetX don't have stock of this fork now - so will have to make do with something compatible. The frame is good though and with the compensation I got it for a good price so I guess can't be too sad. This is just the usual Ebay bad luck.
Anyone got any decent carbon forks with a tapered steerer to match this ? ;)

Sorry no luck on spare forks but I really wouldn't worry not getting exact same, these brands due to their suppliers often change forks season from season
