We are hoping to have a few days in Scotland next week and given the current restrictions I thought it might be good to get someone’s first hand opinion
We have modified the plan to exclude Edinburgh so the current plan is drive up to Perth to get the majority of the journey out the way. From there we would visit Cairngorms , Lochness , Fort George , Ben Nevis , Fort William and finally Loch Lomand. Spread over a few days with majority of days spent walking and sightseeing (and driving) with a nice lunch somewhere. Also open to any suggestions.
Is this going to be possible?
And what’s weather like this time of year in highlands.
From what I’ve read restaurants are open until 6pm and as long as we not in central Belt it’s similar to England.
Evening meals may have to be something makeshift or fast food but I’m fine with this.
