Hello All, I need to pick your brains....
A neighbour kindly donated me the frame below. It belonged to her late husband who bought the 'orange' from new but had it re-sprayed a couple of years ago. I am contemplating adding it to the list of projects, but I wanted to pin down which model it is.
This is what I know...
Is this an early C16/R or a late clockwork??? Any ideas what the stock colour would have been? The lack of a cantilever bridge has me thrown.
Any help appreciated

This is what I know...
It is an 18" steel frame
Serial Number: A41002412 (Guessing October 1994?)
it has a 1" headset
It looks as though it comes with the F7 fork - threaded steerer
It has a brazed on seat clamp
Seat collar measures 31.8
Slot on the seat clamp is rear facing
There appears to be a slight bulge in the diamater of the tubing at the top of the seat tube (Below the top tube)
It does not however have a guide for cantilevers
