£ for lb, they’re better “value” the either the middleburns or Kookas. Especially with postage included, they’ll be a “two man” delivery only.

Our German customers frequently percieve greater weight as more desirable. I imagine it indicates more accessories fitted - there's quite an additional weight to:
luggage racks, basket, mudguards, mirror, "comfy" saddle, soft grips, thick chrome work, large tyres, sidestand, dynamo, hub gears, fullest chain guard, steel sprockets, front suspension, tall stem, swept bar, huge bell...
Whereas in many parts of Britain, (including retrobike) lightness indicates desirability
That "thun" style triple is unsuitable to both camps obvs
