Gears are best,, never understand the single speed thing myself,,, pretty tho

beauty, very clean look'n purposeful machine !! well done fella

got to admit, found the steering on my zaskar a bit severe on the trails with the flat bars and returned to a early riser, but they were narrow bars.

Re:

cheers guys;
Gears were always the plan, the single speed was meant to be temporary but i didn't get around to 'gearing it up' for 6 months.... if it aint broke, don't fix it i guess :LOL:

I made the mistake of selling the aqua-Zas earlier this year, but i was fortunate enough to buy it back. If anything though, it made me appreciate the bike more :)

Zaskars i find are more responsive with risers and a shorter stem, especially with a rigid fork and i would be preferential to a riser bar out on a trail everytime. Shamefully, with 2 jobs on the go i haven't got much mud on the bike yet :oops: but a trip to ashton court/leigh woods is on the cards

Surprisingly there are a lot of positive reviews on them online, for £16.99 a pair they aren't bad value but ultimately you get what you pay for, the sidewalls are paper thin and they don't last five minutes...

I guess the cheapskate in me took over when I bought the splashbacks :LOL:
