'92 Mantis Pro Floater 18" Polished & AMP Fork - Used 2 Hrs!

Retro Newbie
** SOLD **
Early, 1st Gen, one-owner Mantis-built frame ordered shortly after the Pro-Floater’s debut at Interbike in 1991. Believed to be part of the first production run and the 10th 18” Pro-Floater built based on its Serial Number (S181027).

Built as a lightweight cross-country project bike by a pro mechanic, this Pro-Floater features the best available equipment of the time and has less than two hours riding time. It is still equipped with its 1st Gen swingarm and strut and weighs 24.6 lbs.

If you’re looking to add a pristine Pro-Floater to your collection – one built by Mantis Cycles in Placentia and not one of the later Redline or Control Tech-built frames – that’s already equipped with all the early ‘90’s MTB exotica, here it is. Auction includes the original Mantis invoice, 1992 Mantis Catalog with Richard Cunningham’s business card attached (both in Mantis Green), Noleen Shock Info Kit, AMP Research Suspension Fork Owner’s Manual, Catalog, and Dealer Price List, and other items listed below. More than 70 additional photos can be seen at Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/21885827@ ... 1411262306

Way too much to list here since the bike was built from the frame up with hand picked components, but potential buyers will not be disappointed. It will be up on eBay until it sells and the full build list can be accessed there: https://www.ebay.com/itm/164151295626

Asking $2,000

Thanks for looking, don't hesitate to PM for more info.
