Yes that traffic on the M6 loves being up at those speeds and as for doing a ton plus my motor complains at 70mph :facepalm: but any how glad to see the Civic is working out well for you THM and i'm guessing the mpg is in the 50s on the motorway or were you to busy enjoying the drive .

It is pretty good if you don't expect the manufacturer's claimed figures. Perhaps you are driving like a normal person, rather than trying to eek out every extra mile from every drop of fuel. The runs done to establish fuel consumption by the manufacturers are wholly unrealistic.

I am lucky to get over 13 mpg from my main weapon on petrol, but I leave it in Sport mode for towing, and hammer it the rest of the time. Enjoy the V8s while we can! Puppies, baby seals, blah blah blah.. So sue me!
