Brings back great memories this bike frame. Having taken up road racing in 1998/99 I bought one of these in 1998, my first road bike. Purchased at Gwent Cycles in Newport (South Wales ) for around £300 full bike. Remember it being super strong, but very heavy, almost too heavy for 531 tubes.. But it was probably more down to the heavy components. Still a bombproof bike, and would always standup to a crash or two! I seem to remember it came with a low grade Shimano groupset, and Rigida wheels. Still it served its purpose, and made a good touring bike for a number of years, when I upgraded my race bike to Cannondale CAD2
