Lovely project it turned up a treat. What spray paint & techniques did you use?

I'm looking to paint similar seat tube bands on my 50's Carlton but don't know how. Did you use masking tape?

I used paint from https://www.specialistpaints.com/collections/kustom-canz-custom-aerosol-cans - pretty sure it was a baby blue base colour with single coat of pearl blue laquer and single coat of silver pearl lacquer then clearcoat. The seat tube bands were a real pain - masked with low grab blue frogtape I think, spayed the cream/white on, then re-masked for the thin lines in charcoal (all done before the laquers were done.
