Hello folks,

A sad day, time to sell up. I’m just not up to riding as much or as well as I used to, these have to go and be ridden by someone else.

I’m asking £250 each collected from Horsham, West Sussex. I'm after an Islabike Rothan balance bike and CNOC 14 or 16, happy to do a deal. I’m more than happy to meet at Horsham station (direct trains from Victoria or London Bridge). I really don't want to box them up and post but can if I really have to, p&p is on top of the bike price. I’m not splitting these so please no, “dibs on a bottle cage bolt if you decide to split” replies or PMs.

I’ve only included one pic of each, please PM me if you’re interested and I’ll happily take more for you. I’ve included as much spec as I can but ask away if you have any questions. No pedals, sorry. I’ll mark if they’re spoken for/sold so unless you see otherwise, please assume that they’re available.

I’ve included frame measurements but to give you a size guide I’m about 5ft9

1980’s Saracen Tufftrax. I had the frame and fork media blasted and powder coated sky blue then Waxoyled the inside of all the tubes. It was built up with new rims, headset chain, cassette etc. It has a Tange MTB sticker on it because I had one. I think this has been ridden twice on hardpack since being built, under 100 miles.

Frame & Fork: Saracen Tufftrax. Seat tube measures 46cm C/C, top tube 55cm C/C.

Hub Skewers: Shimano Deore XT
Rims: WTB Dual Duty
Hubs: Shimano Deore XT M737
Spokes: Sapim double butted
Tyres: Specialized Rhythm Lite 2.3 (great on hardpack, if you want knobblies I have some Conti skinwalls you can have, Premolar and Cannis)

Saddle: Sele Italia Sprint suede

Last of all we have my 1992 Saracen Carerra Quatro E-stay. This one it pains me to move on but I’m just not up to riding it now. It’s the bike I rode to retro pairs victory at the Brighton Big Dog with Bryan555 in 2011. SOLD

Frame: 1992 Carerra Quatro E-stay built by Saracen in the UK (drop out has Saracen cast in to it), Reynolds 531 Magnum tubing.

Fork: Kona P2, tripple butted 410mm A/C, (the suspension corrected one). I found this was a great fork to calm the twitchiness of the short stays down. I have the original fork that you're welcome to if you want it.

Chainrings: Shimano Deore XT M730 SG rings, 46T/36T/24T

Hub Skewers: Deore XT
Rims: Sun Rhino Lite
Hubs: Shimano Deore XT M750
Spokes: Sapim double butted
Tyres: IRC Mythos

Saddle: Madisson Flux
Seatpost: Zoom Lightweight

Tange Prestige framed MTB GONE

I got this as NOS with a Tange Prestige ticker on it, it certainly is light weight enough to be Prestige, no make on it but Jonnyboy666 reckons it’s a Stoutlite (or how ever you spell it). It’s a multitude of monochrome shades of grey so I broke it up with a bit of pink cable I had, if you can’t live with it I’ll swap it for a bit of black for you. This has got 6 laps of mayhem on it and that Isle of Wight ride since being built. Chainrings, cassette wheels etc were all new when built.

Frame: Tange Prestige tubing. Seat tube measures 41cm c/c (16”) top tube 56cm c/c

Fork: Kona P2, tripple butted 410mm A/C (the suspension corrected one)

Headset: Pro roller bearing 11/8”

noooooooooooo!!!!

not the e-stay :sob:

dammit, I'd buy that if I had the money. Think of the medal winning we did on that.....wait, that was the year I had my leg chopped off by the big ring, wasn't it...

Yes, the one I didn't want anyone to want, it looks like it's the one that's going first :(

If memory serves, we were on for a 3rd place finish until that point

If it means that much to you, I can set up a payment plan at Wonga levels of interest.
