I'd say it was a Grove hammerhead. From pics I recall seeing they looked a little like the gt flip flops. Could be completely wrong of course.

all the grove stems I have seen the quill portion is separate from the stem itself.
and has a double wedge arrangement. this one the quill is integrated with the stem.
also has NL stamped on the quill. hoping the grove experts can shed light here.
grove or not, it's an interesting stem.

"NL" is probably "HL" for Hsin Lung:

Hsin Lung is a big Taiwanese manufacturer of OEM bars and stems, and the factory behind the ZOOM brand. I don't recognize this one. What's the quill diameter?

I did some online searching and found pretty much the same. It had he same styling as the grove but isn't quite the same. Came across something about a fat chance hammerhead stem.
