3 X Salsa Alacarte 1985/1990/1990

Hi folks -

An Alacarte for all occations - 3 at one time. In every size as well - small, medium and large.

1. Salsa Alacarte 1985, #SM127 - fillet brazed (only year)

This 1985 Alacarte is fillet brazed, has double roller cams and are all original besides tires and stem. The decals almost seems hand painted, but it is a "true varnish-on decals. An extremely head ache filled way on doing decals, but the very best for that thin paired on look" - According to Ross Shafer. Bought from the original owner last year, switched the tires to a set of Specialized Hard Pack and switched the original Specialized stem to a cooler (and early) Salsa Pro Moto stem. It rides like a dream.

22.5" c/c top tube, 21"(if I remember correctly" c/c seat tube. Fits me great at 182 cm.

Paint has patina and would be repainted if it wasn't original I'd say. But hey, original once.

This was the only year of the Scoboni Alacarte, the fillet brazed frames were too labor intensive and made the frames so expensive to make that Salsa lose a lot of money on these.

Looking for €1900 for this

2. Salsa Alacarte 1990,#SM490

This 1990 Salsa Alacarte, 17", has all the bells and whistles - the Bontrager comp fork, the Pro Moto stem and bar plus a pretty sweet Shimano Deore XT package. Mavic Gao hubs with Mavic qrs, Mavic 231 rims. IRD repro seat post and new Turbo seat - I have another more original if someone prefers that. Timbuk II tires. Chris King no logo headset.

All in very, very good condition. Rims have some brake wear, but not much at all. Original factory repainted splatter paint, probably done around 1994.

It’s already here and it’s going to be one of the last ones in I think - the Cunningham Racer #C15.
